Grilled Chicken Club Sandwich


Sometimes we really don’t need a recipe to get us through dinner, we just need a good idea.

Here is an old standard that I go to time and time again, especially during the summer months.

There’s nothing like a deliciouly grilled tender piece of chicken topped with all the yummy things you love.  Pair with your favorite bread or bun and you have a home run dinner that is easy and delicious.


Be sure to season the star of the show with some seasoned salt and my favorite, Montreal Seasoning for chicken.

Now chicken is just like beef when it comes to seasoning it with salt and pepper.  Remove it from the refrigerator and season.  The key is to allow the salt and pepper to dissolve somewhat into the meat, so allowing it to sit for about 20 minutes really is crucial in a well seasoned piece of meat.


Choose your favorite bun or bread.  I used these buns so I could add cheese on top of my chicken. 

The only problem with these buns is that they were just a bit on the small side and since my chicken was so moist and juicy, the bun became soggy.  But no regrets, I really enjoyed my cheese.


When preparing these sandwiches for your family or friends, just sit out a big plate of toppings for the sandwich. 

We know EVERYTHING is better with bacon.  I also have some nice romaine, tomatoes, avocado and cheeses.


I was torn between the blue cheese and the pepper Jack cheese.

In the end, the pepper Jack won.


A little tomato.


Bacon, of course.


and some delicious and creamy slices of avocado.  Guacamole would be great, too.


Now open wide and say…..dinner’s done, oh yum yum.
